My favorite thing about Vox so far is that when you are added as someone's friend, it e-mails you with "there goes the neighborhood" displayed in large, pleasant sky-blue letters.
I'm sorry, Vox. I wasn't aware that I had singlehandedly destroyed the neighborhood by taking advantage of a generous friend in order to gain access to your services. I'm sorry that you have to be so stingy with the codes that I have to go through months of elaborate planning and faux overtures at friendship just to get in on the ground floor of this hot new service. I'm sorry you find my means morally questionable. But really, there's no call for that kind of snide language in the welcome e-mail.
I don't know what I'm going to do with you, Vox! Can I make you pretty? Will it require hours of struggling and loud cursing like with livejournal? Because I don't play that game anymore. I touched Stephen Colbert. Is that related to anything? No. But the point is, I like things easy.
See, now that was easy. This is one of my favorite books. I wrote a paper on it in my English class last semester, or rather, one of my English classes, the one that I didn't hate with the burning fiery passion of a thousand suns. Maybe I'll use this to catalogue all the books I read, or potentially write. That is a fun and exciting idea, and I am a fun and exciting girl.
Now I am going to go and be fun and exciting while I unpack. Mm!
I almost chose the robot theme. It rules. read more
